C + C Snowflake

Colleen and I have been decorating for the holidays. I've gotten into making snowflakes. Today I cut out a C + C snowflake. The image here is from a scan of the paper cut out with a background I added in Photoshop.

Sister Laurian Pieterek

Sister Laurian Pieterek passed away October 22, 2005.
I have many memories of her kindness, grace, and the way she could fill a room with her energy, love and hope for the future.

What I will remember most about her is the way she was comfortable in herself, passionate about her work, and caring about each individual she encountered. These are the things I strive for most.

She was an example of how we should all be. What a kinder, more prosperous world we would have if all were.

Halloween 2005

Last night Colleen and I carved pumpkins. I did two (left and right). She did the Mr. Bill pumpkin in the middle.
